Directions once in Ucluelet:

Follow Peninsula Road (main road in Ucluelet) through Ucluelet, past the schools and past Marine Dr. Turn right on to Reef Point Rd. Go to the end of Reef Point Rd. and follow the paved driveway out on to the point to Copperstone Inn. (378 Reef Point Rd.)

Directions from Nanaimo, Vancouver Island (B.C. Ferries)

Follow the Island Highway north (called Hwy 1 between Victoria and Nanaimo – then is called Hwy 19 between Nanaimo and Pt. Hardy) past the Parksville cutoff and on up to the Qualicum /Pt. Alberni exit Hwy 4. Take this exit and follow Hwy 4 west all the way to Ucluelet. You will travel through Pt. Alberni on your way. In Port Alberni, just follow the signs to Ucluelet. You will make only one turn (right) at a traffic light opposite a boat basin. Thereafter it is straight sailing through to Ucluelet. The road is up and down with many turns. Take your time and enjoy the scenery, It is very beautiful. The speed limit signs are very accurate around all the turns so drive accordingly with care. We want to see you arrive safe & sound! Once in Ucluelet just follow the directions noted above.
The travel time from Nanaimo to Pt. Alberni is approximately 1 hour and the travel time between Pt. Alberni and Ucluelet is about 1.5 hours.
